March 6 - Four beer tanks were loaded onboard the Velserdiep in St Petersburg's multipurpose terminal, YUG -2, for shipment to Mariupol, Ukraine.
Ten tanks had been delivered by truck to the multipurpose terminal from St Petersburg suburbs.
The owner of the terminal, of Ust-Luga Company, says that the cargo's dimensions - 21.7 m long and 6.4 m diameter prevented it from being delivered to St. Petersburg sea port because of road restrictions.
Alexandr Goloviznin, deputy director general for port business development says: "The only one way to send such cargo became the sea port of Ust-Luga. Lack of restrictions and road traffic makes convenient access to the terminal."
The final six tanks will be shipped before March 10.
