March 7 - The Project Cargo Network (PCN) now has its third member in Australia with the addition of SI Logistics Australia Pty Ltd, which has a team of dedicated experts focussed on servicing the steel, energy andresources sectors.
SI Logistics Australia (SILA) provides supply chain services for FCL and breakbulk steel importers.
SILA director, Darren Dumbleton says: "Our cache of customers includes major mills, agents and traders. SILA is providing FCL services and breakbulk services ex-mill door i.e. transport, container packing, shipping, customs clearance, container unpacking and delivery.
"We also service all major breakbulk ports with personal located wharf side to spot and tally cargo once discharged and prior to loading on our trucks for delivery to ultimate buyer's door. We are experienced in handling many types of project cargo, pipes, plant and equipment, pre-fabricated steel products, drilling rigs and jack up barges. Some of our most recent contracts have been in the coal, rail and gas storage sector."
The PCN membership in Australia now includes AWS Customs & Forwarding PTY Ltd; SI Logistics Australia Pty Ltd and Spark Global Logistics PTY Ltd.
