The Port Authority of Seville (APS) has relaunched five public tenders for port enhancement projects, including the expansion of the Muelle de Armamento (Armament Pier).
The tenders had been suspended due to Covid-19. Having been relaunched, APS has also extended the deadlines.
The deadline for submissions for the expansion of the Armament Pier has been extended to June 23. The project, according to APS, will enable the facilities to handle large structures. The works will include an extension of the dock by approximately 19,000 sq m.
APS has also relaunched the tender for the construction of new roads at the entrance of the port. Proposals need to be submitted by June 5.
Other projects in the pipeline include the expansion of the port’s railway facilities, as well as works to increase the capacity of warehouses 3, 4 and 5 of Avenida de Las Razas.
