September 10 - Belgian deputy prime minister Alexander De Croo has officially opened the Port Logistics seminar in Antwerp, which was organised by APEC-Antwerp/Flanders Port Training Center.
The seminar, which is being attended by 33 participants from 21 different countries, including Indonesia, Ukraine and Vietnam, will cover all aspects of modern logistics in a maritime context through presentations from private companies and various port authorities, said APEC.
Amongst the topics discussed will be freight transport, storage, distribution and handling, as well as Customs regulations, the handling of dangerous goods and supply chain management.
