The second edition of the International Sustainable Port Conference will be held in Bilbao and Getxo, Spain, on February 6-7, 2025.
The conference’s focus will be on how to advance sustainable growth in port activity and in the wider logistics sector, with experts in the related fields sharing their knowledge and exchanging ideas and experiences.
Acknowledging the role that ports play in helping meet the challenges of the overall global energy transition, the aim of the event is to design a common strategy by building on the insights offered up by those within the industry.
The conference has been organised by the Bilbao Port Authority and the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce. Government administration and public authorities, companies within related sectors, as well as the general public will attend the event.
In December 2024, the port of Bilbao received approval for solar installations at its onshore power system (OPS).
