May 17 - Seaports of Niedersachsen, which represents the nine Lower Saxony seaports, has taken its message to two key industry shows to fly the flag for the northern German seaports.
The body will be represented May 18 - 20 at the RORO Exhibition in Bremen and on the same dates at the Breakbulk Transportation Conference & Exhibition in Antwerp.
This follows attendance last month by the Seaports of Niedersachsen at the TransRussia show in Moscow in Russia where the organisation shared a stand with bremenports.
Meanwhile, the ports of Brake, Emden, Nordenham, Leer, Papenburg, Stade, Cuxhaven, Oldenburg and Wilhelmshaven, which make up Seaports of Niedersachsen, moved 11.1 million tonnes of cargo in Q1 2010, including heavy lift loads.
