August 28 - Scaldis has completed the transportation and installation of two offshore high voltage substations for the Gemini project in the Netherlands.
Scaldis was responsible for the transportation of the jackets, which were fabricated and loaded onto barges in Vlissingen, as well as the delivery of the topsides, which were transported from Hoboken to the field at a later stage.
As well as the transport, Scaldis handled the installation of the jackets and topsides, as well as the piling and grouting works.
The offshore wind energy project consists of two sites at Zee-Energie and Buitengaats.
