Rainer Sasse, ceo of Luxembourg-based Luxtrailers, has joined the board of the European association of abnormal road transport and mobile cranes (ESTA).
A mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Applied Sciences in Heidelberg, Germany, Sasse worked for Tii-Sales – the joint sales organisation of Scheuerle, Nicolas and Kamag – for over 11 years. As vice president, he was responsible for the key accounts of the group as well as for the SPMT product line.
Since 2018, Sasse has been responsible for the operational business of heavy transport equipment specialist Luxtrailers, becoming ceo in January of this year.
ESTA’s next full board meeting will take place in September.
