November 27 - Sarjak Container Lines has coordinated the transport of two large storage tanks from India to Kenya.
The tanks, each of which weighed 30 tonnes and measured 16 m x 3.4 m x 3.83 m, were first transported by road from north India to the Port of Nhava Sheva.
On arrival at the port, the tanks were loaded onto a container vessel for shipment to Mombasa. Due to the size of the cargoes, Sarjak was required to devise a bespoke solution for loading and securing the units on board the vessel.
Sarjak handled the pre-carriage operations, loading at the Port of Nhava Sheva, obtaining of Customs clearance, and ocean freight to Kenya.
Sarjak Container Lines is a member of the WCA Projects network.
