November 4 - Ryano Logistics recently executed a complex project, transporting three power generators, a transformer and an oversize fuel tank from the Netherlands to a remote part of the Andes mountain range in Peru.

"The real adventure started when the cargo needed to be delivered to the Sivia district, in a location where no forklifts or cranes can be used as the ground is unstable and cannot handle the weight of the machinery," said Ryano Logistics' Jhoanna Benitez.

A jacking system was utilised to complete the installation and in less than a week the five out of gauge pieces were safely assembled and running at the final project site. The installation was originally planned to be temporary, with a shelf life of three months but this has now been extended to two years.
