August 6 - Russian Railways Logistics (RZDL) recently delivered 334 tonnes of processing equipment for the Ryazan Oil Refinery, near Moscow.
Two out-of-gauge modules were transported by rail from the Atomenergomash plant in Volgodonsk, Rostov, to a factory in the city of Ryazan.
The cargoes were loaded on two separate 12-axle sections of a coupled car and forwarded from the North-Caucasian region to Moscow. The project was completed though a scheme developed by the special projects department of the Central Directorate of the Traffic Control, a branch of Russian Railways.
The consignment was dispatched on a single train to minimise the load on the rail infrastructure capacity, in turn limiting disruption to passenger rail services.
