December 17 - Rhenus helped to cheer up the good folk of Bangor, Northern Ireland by planting a giant Christmas bauble in the town square.
The freight forwarder's Belfast office arranged the shipment of the 4 m diameter decoration in 11 separate parts from Zabrze, Poland via Dublin, taking care to ensure that the delicate sections arrived in perfect condition so that it could be reassembled in time for the festivities.
Belfast branch manager, Colm West, points out that Rhenus is making a name for itself in transporting Christmas trees and other giant decorations across Europe.
