February 10 - Portus has helped moved seven H1 Unlimited Hydroplane racing boats and eight specialty boat trailers through Jaxport's Blount Island Marine Terminal.
Following the 2014 UIM World Championship in Doha, the boats were shipped from Qatar to Jacksonville by Peters & May USA division Peters & May Racing on board a Liberty Global Logistics ro-ro vessel.
Ted Grange, director of operations at H1 Unlimited, said that Jaxport was one of the best ports it had worked with, considering that the boats and equipment are very valuable and require special handling.
