October 25 - Orbit Transport & Trading Services Ltd has joined the Project Partners network for Jordan and Iraq.
Orbit Transport is based in Amman and has operated in Iraq since 1982 through offices in Baghdad, Basra and Umm Qasr. Its basic activities are in freight forwarding and logistics for the oil and gas projects, power and electrical projects including heavy lift, equipment and project cargo machinery to Iraq, especially the southern areas of Zubair, Qurna, Majnoon, for the Iraqi ministry of electricity and the Iraqi oil ministry.
Previous clients include ENI, Saipem, Sumitomo, Siemens, GE Oil & Gas, Nouvi Penuni, Petrofac, PIRECO,TAS, Valerus, ABB, Weatherford, Machinoimport and others in the oil and gas fields.
Orbit has offices in Jordan as well as Iraq. It has a sister company representative in Tunisia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, USA and Egypt.
