November 4 - BNSF Logistics has extended its project cargo team with the arrival of three former employees from the project cargo team of Progressive Rail Specialized Logistics (PRSL) which is now fully integrated into the BNSF Logistics organisation.
Joining the BNSF Logistics team are Ed Isbell, Jeremy Young and Jeff Clark all with a focus on rail logistics for BNSF Logistics Project Cargo Team.
"The team from PRSL is well-recognised in the industry for developing and deploying creative solutions for industrial customers that want to leverage rail as part of that solution. This addition supports our strategic focus on industrial project cargo and allows the team from PRSL to extend even greater services and resources to their customers," said Robert Sutton, senior vice president, US projects & rail service.
The addition of new staff from PRSL will deepen BNSF Logistics' understanding of custom rail solutions specialising in over-dimensional cargoes, says the company.
Through the joint efforts of the three newcomers, along with BNSF Logistics's existing team of rail and over dimensional staff, the company hopes to broaden both the scope and capacity of the combined organisation.
BNSF Logistics says that it is anxious to expand itsservice offering to a wider range of customers and take advantage of everything multimodal shipping has to offer.
