March 30 - Heavy lift project forwarding network the Project Professionals Group plans to power up its renewable energy transportation expertise during the Windpower Conference and Exhibition in Anaheim, California, from May 22-25.
PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said he would be working an exhibition booth along with PPG member in the United States, TransProject LLC.
He said a similar combined booth at Windpower in Dallas last year was very successful and well received by some of the world's leading renewable energy companies.
"PPG members have acquired considerable new business in recent years managing wind blade and turbine project cargos around the world and we plan to continue to build a strong presence in this market," Mr Stephens said.
"Renewable energy is one of PPG's fastest growing markets and profiling our capabilities at Windpower 2011 will help ensure PPG is well positioned to win more project cargoes in the renewable energy market."
The PPG/TransProject booth is number 1981 in Hall C on the main level of the Anaheim Convention Center.
Mr Stephens said the Project Professionals Group annual conference in Rio de Janeiro from June 15-17 would also provide an opportunity to explore opportunities in the expanding wind power market in South America.
