September 25 - Wales's Port of Newport, owned and operated by Associated British Ports (ABP), has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LHM 180 mobile harbour crane.
ABP says the new unit will play an important role in supporting the port's bulk and breakbulk customers.
The LHM 180 has a lifting capacity of 64 tonnes and a height of 50 m; it is capable of handling cargo on a variety of vessels up to handy size bulk carriers.
The new crane will accompany two existing mobile harbour cranes, a range of quayside cranes and handling equipment at the Port of Newport.
