February 9 - International energy logistics provider, Peterson, has signed an agreement with Port Cameron to develop a 500-acre (202 ha) deepwater staging port and supply base facility in the Gulf of Mexico.
According to Peterson, it will provide logistics consultancy services to support the planning and initial development of Port Cameron in Louisiana, USA.
Under the agreement, Peterson claims it will have the option to lease up to 1.2 million sq ft (111,484 sq m) of space in Port Cameron Logistic Centre and will also serve as port manager. In this role, Peterson will provide operational support and port management, including supporting Port Cameron with strategic development.

According to Peterson, upon completion, Port Cameron will be the largest private energy services facility on the Gulf Coast.
