September 26 - Fortune International Transport and Gebrüder Weiss, both members of the Project Cargo Network (PCN), have coordinated the transport of a 60-tonne rotor from Italy to St. Petersburg, Russia.
The rotor was transported by road to Lübeck in Germany, where it was transferred onto a Mafi trailer and shipped by ferry to St. Petersburg before continuing by road to the final destination.
Meanwhile, PCN member Freja Transport & Logistics has delivered equipment for a plant under construction in Pori, Finland.
Freja transported the cargoes, the largest of which measured 22 m x 6.5 m x 6.2 m, to the project site within one day of the vessel arriving in Finland.
In a separate project, CEA Project Logistics, PCN member in Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos, completed the load-out of 15 modules and three filtration vessels destined for an ethoxylation plant in Pasadena, USA.
CEA transported the units on hydraulic trailers from the fabrication yard to the awaiting vessel at Laem Chabang Port, Thailand. The load-out was completed using the vessel's own cranes.
PCN member in Oman, Khimji Ramdas Projects & Logistics Group, has handled the delivery of a rig, and its accessories, to an oil and gas facility in Nizwa.
The rig and its parts arrived in Oman from Jakarta, Indonesia onboard a multipurpose heavy lift vessel. After discharging at Sohar Port, the units were delivered to Nizwa, approximately 350 km away from the port.
Meanwhile, Colombian member Anker Logistica y Carga and member in the USA, Leman, worked together to transport 59 pipe coils from Houston, USA to Tolú, Colombia.
