May 6 - Project Cargo Network (PCN) member France Cargo International recently handled the shipment of two oversize compressors from Le Havre to Busan in South Korea.
The two compressors tipped the scales at 60 tonnes each. Approximately 1,000 cu m of general cargo was also delivered with the oversize items.
Denis Mandil, managing director of France Cargo, said the items were loaded onboard a container vessel as breakbulk.
Meanwhile, PCN member representing Turkey, Ekin Heavy & Project Cargo Transportation Company, delivered an 11-tonne boat from Tuzla, Turkey to Baku in Azerbaijan.
The 14 m x 4.2 m x 4.05 m vessel was safely transported to the delivery address in Baku using Ekin's own equipment. Ekin also handled all escort procedures and permits.
