November 7 - First Global Logistics and Tandem Logistics (Project Cargo Network members in Egypt and Tunisia respectively) have collaborated on the movement of four out-of-gauge units of oil and gas equipment for a petroleum services company.
The units, which consisted of two mud logging laboratory units mounted on skids (each with a length of 8.75 m, width of 2.9 m and height of 2.8 m) and two cabins, were transported on a Messina Line ship from Alexandria Free Zone in Egypt to Rades Port, Tunisia, from where Tandem delivered the equipment to Zarzis.
Meanwhile, PCN member in India (LCL Logistix) and Italy (Fortune International Transport) have worked together to handle the shipment of a wooden case containing equipment and spares for a rebar mill from Venice in Italy to Mumbai, India.
The case was 73 tonnes in weight and 63 cu m in volume and was shipped through Porto Marghera in Italy.
