May 26 - Members of the Project Cargo Network (PCN), Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) and Scandinavian Express, have coordinated a multimodal transportation project from Poland to Sweden.
The cargo, which consisted of a large crane part, weighed 22 tonnes and had the dimensions 5.6 m x 3.4 m x 3.4 m. It was moved by road using Scandinavian Express' own heavy-duty truck (pictured), before being shipped by ro-ro vessel across the Baltic Sea.
As well as transportation of the equipment, the two PCN members arranged all permissions and road checks.
