July 28 - ICARUS, the world's largest liquid argon particle hunter, has arrived at the US Department of Energy's Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) in Batavia, Illinois.
Last week, HLPFI reported that the machine arrived at the Port of Indiana-Burns Harbour, USA following its journey from Geneva, Switzerland.
Measuring 66 ft (20.1 m) long and weighing 63 tons (57.2 tonnes) each, Barnhart Crane & Rigging transported the components to ICARUS' final destination at the facility in Batavia, Illinois.
