April 29 - Omega Morgan has formed a partnership with Lynden, Washington based Action Specialialized Transportation & Rigging as part of a multi-year deal to purchase the assets of the company.
Omega Morgan president and ceo Greg Tansey explained that, as part of this partnership, Action Specialized president Tyson Friesen and his team have become employees of Omega Morgan.
In addition to Action's skilled personnel and solid reputation, Tansey said that the company's equipment assets - including two dual-lane trailers, eight heavy haul tractors and two slide systems - will now be able to serve both companies throughout western Canada and the northwest USA.
Tansey added that Omega Morgan plans to maintain the Action name and brand in the near term but he added: "as the partnership progresses, many of Action's assets will receive a facelift to the Omega Morgan green and eventually Action will become fully-owned by Omega Morgan."
With this partnership, Omega Morgan says that it will be able to provide additional expertise to its customer base particularly in Alberta, British Columbia and northern Washington.
The partnership also includes the expansion of Omega Morgan in Canada, with the opening of an office in Edmonton.
