The MOU sets out that the duo will cooperate on rigging, specialised transportation and logistics services within the Tahltan traditional territory - a region rich in natural resources and a hot-bed of opportunities for the project cargo sector.
"This is a first of its kind agreement for Omega Morgan and we look forward to working closely with the Tahltan Nation on future projects in the region. This MOU is just the first step in our alliance with the Tahltan and lays the framework for the creation of a mutually beneficial business relationship," said Greg Tansey, president and ceo of Omega Morgan. "Our hope is that we not only work closely together on key projects but that Omega Morgan has the opportunity to leave a lasting impact by hiring and training local qualified Tahltan members, further expanding the skilled labour workforce in the region."
