April 1 - SMC, SeaRenergy and Con4Mare have joined forces to offer transport and installation, engineering, marine consultancy and warranty surveying services for offshore wind projects in the UK and Germany.
SMC brings its experience of marine coordination and client representation for offshore projects in the UK, while SeaRenergy and Con4Mare offer experience in the German offshore wind sector.
SeaRenergy specialises in the planning, engineering, transport and installation of offshore wind projects.
All three companies will remain independent but will offer their respective services through the partnership agreement.
"Over the last years we have seen consolidation of service providers in the German offshore wind market. We believe that this process will continue and that the clients will require a broader scope of services from a single source", said Benjamin Vordemfelde, managing director of SeaRenergy.
