October 28 - NYK Line (Vietnam) Co Ltd has become a wholly owned subsidiary of NYK.
Nearly nine years ago, NYK Line (Vietnam) Co Ltd was established in Vietnam as a joint venture maritime transport agency between NYK (51 percent) and the VOSA Group of Companies (49 percent).
NYK recently purchased VOSA's shares and the Vietnamese government approved the application for NYK Line (Vietnam) Co Ltd to become a wholly owned subsidiary.
The NYK Group offers 12 direct liner services that call at Vietnamese ports, as well as bulk shipping services, which transport a wide range of cargoes include heavy and over dimensional industrial plant modules.
