November 15 - CEVA Logistics has won an ocean transportation project with Brazil-based oil and gas company, Petrobas.
The project involves monthly shipments of Christmas trees - oversized cargo that is an assembly of valves, spools and fittings used to control the flow of oil or gas in a well - on a ro-ro vessel from the port of Tilbury in the UK to the port of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The project is scheduled to begin in September of next year with a projected completion date at the end of December 2014.
CEVA has been the official freight management provider for the Petrobas Exploration and Production Division for the past four years.
