Japan’s Nippon Express has taken delivery of 56 axle lines of Cometto MSPE self-propelled vehicles.
The order comprised 8 axle lines of 40-tonne capacity MSPE type units and 48 axle lines of MSPE EVO3s that have a payload of 70 tonnes. The delivery represents a total payload capacity of more than 3,400 tonnes, said Cometto.
The order also included five power pack units (PPU), four of which have an output of 335 kW each and another of 110 kW.
Cometto added: “The electronically steered self-propelled vehicles offer maximum manoeuvrability. The patented dual-link suspension allows the greatest lift capacity while the air filled tires help to protect the ground.”
