October 1 - The website of the port of Hamburg has recently been completely re- designed, writes Charlotte Matheson.
Its new appearance and additional content on many of its pages means that potential customers and partners of the port can access up to date information about the wide range of services supplied, as well as recent developments at the port.
New features include a live camera from the port, 'quick links' and interactive options. Port of Hamburg associate members can also publish company news aimed at the general public directly online.
Consisting of 1371 web pages in all, it offers a wide range of information about the various aspects of the marine transport industry in German, English, Chinese, Russian, Polish and Czech. Further languages will be added presently.
