April 26 - Eastern Shipping SRL of Romania has joined the Project Cargo Network (PCN).
Established in 2011, Eastern Shipping SRL has offices in Constanta and Midia and employs 12 staff. It specialises in the energy and power sector and offers breakbulk and project cargo transportation, as well as port-related services.
"We consider our strongest service to be the door-to-door delivery of heavy cargo projects. In recent years, Romania has been deeply involved with wind projects and we became a great option for the big players in the market," explained Alex Teseleanu, business development manager, Eastern Shipping SRL.
He added that the company, despite its young age, has cultivated a wide range of clients and executed a number of complex projects. Pictured below is a recent project executed by Eastern Shipping SRL - it transported wind blades and tower sections from Turkey and the Czech Republic on behalf of GE Wind Energy for one of Europe's largest wind farms in Cogealac, Romania. Further wind energy projects are planned with GE Wind Energy for 2013.
