November 4 - Offshore Heavy Transport (OHT), the Oslo-based heavy shipping company, has named Torgeir Ramstad as chief executive officer.
Ramstad has extensive top level management experience from offshore contracting, construction and marine operations in the oil & gas and renewables sectors.
He is a graduate in marine engineering and naval architecture having studied at NTNU in Trondheim.
OHT operates five semi-submersible heavy lift vessels; Eagle, Falcon, Hawk, Osprey and the recently added Albatross.
