August 6 - The Moscow-based NATREX Group has handled the delivery of a hydroelectric generator, plus auxiliary items to be installed at 750-megawatt La Yesca power station in Mexico.
Total cargo weight exceeded 1,600 tonnes including oversized cargo and six heavy items weighing more than 82 tonnes each.
The cargoes were brought to St Petersburg by truck over the course of ten days, then loaded aboard Onego Ponza, a vessel chartered by the NATREX group, via the port's floating crane for shipment to Altamira.
This is the third shipment of equipment for the La Yesca project handled by the NATREX Group, with the previous cargoes being shipped from the Illychevsk, Ukraine to the port of Tampico, Mexico in 2009.
As a forwarding company which specialises in delivering all types of general cargo, the Natrex Group works for the largest Russian and European engineering companies.
