CyberLogitec has introduced OPUS Terminal M, a multipurpose terminal operating system (TOS) that can coordinate containers, breakbulk, project, bulk and ro-ro cargoes.
The maritime, port/terminal and logistics technology developer said the new system offers the advanced functionality of CyberLogitec's established OPUS Terminal solution.
The system is designed for smaller to medium-sized terminals. One of its most advanced functions is real-time 2D and 3D visualisation of cargo and yard operations.
The browser-based system is accessible across locations in real-time, with key features available on mobile devices such as tablets and phones, added CyberLogitec.
Customers have the option of deploying the system via a hosted solution or as a software as a service model.
Jason Hyeon, managing director of CyberLogitec Global, said that OPUS Terminal M provides the full functionality of bespoke container TOS systems while “offering terminals of all sizes the benefits and advanced operational efficiencies that were previously exclusive to mega terminals because of cost considerations”.
