Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has added Houston, USA, on its Santana transpacific service, which links Vietnam and Central China to the US Gulf and East coasts.
The port of Houston will be the first port call in the USA on the service. The rotation is Haiphong – Shanghai – Ningbo – Houston – Charleston – New York – Haiphong, offering a 31-day transit time between Vietnam and Houston.
The first vessel on the updated service called Haiphong on December 31, 2021, and is scheduled to call at Houston’s Bayport Container Termina.
