June 17 - Move One is continuing to operate its business in Iraq under the current turmoil but warns against using some transportation routes.

Move One is still providing services via Baghdad airport and delivering shipments within the city limit as well as to southern Iraq, but warns its customers to contact the company prior to booking and put its shipment on hold at origin.

Shipments are still being received through Erbil and Suleymaniyah airports for delivery to Kurdistan.

Move One advises that the main road between Zakho and Erbil is being controlled by Kurdish Armed Forces and is currently safe. However, due to heavy traffic and Mosul citizens fleeing from the city, delays are expected. Move One suggests that any shipment in transit from Turkey to central and southern Iraq be stored in Erbil.

Roads from Kurdistan to Baghdad and southern Iraq are unsafe, warns Move One. All transportation services utilising trucks are on hold. Depending on the circumstances, deliveries of small shipments with vans may be possible, and transportation with armed Peshmerga security can be arranged if required.

Move One is presently unable to delivery shipments to Taji, Balad, Tikrit and Mosul.

The company advises that southern Iraq is not yet affected by the crisis, so Move One can provide transportation services via Safwan, Umm Qasr and Basrah airport.
