January 27 - Malaysia headquartered project forwarder Mory-Tnte has coordinated the transport of two high pressure separators, each weighing 58 tonnes, from Batam in Indonesia to Singapore's Keppel Shipyard.
The move was part of a logistics contract awarded to Mory-Tnte by Lundin Petroleum for the Bertam oilfield development project offshore Malaysia.
Mory-Tnte's work involved transporting the 58-tonne separators from their fabrication plant in Indonesia to Singapore using a 230 ft (70 m) long barge. In Singapore, a 1,000-tonne capacity floating crane was used to lift the cargo from the barge and onto a vessel at the Keppel Shipyard.
The Malaysian company was also instrumental in the installation of the separators at the project site, said Mory-Tnte.
As well as these two units, the company will be handling the transportation of other components for the Bertam FPSO project, including engines, skids, batteries and other support equipment.
Mory-Tnte is a member of the WCA Projects network.
