December 12 - Nurminen Logistics has transported the 'Shy Black', an artwork by Finnish sculptress Miina
The bull, constructed from scrap metal, was lifted on to a special transport trailer in Helsinki and transported via ship to the UK. The metal sculpture was then delivered to Barnards Farm sculpture park in Essex.
Nurminen Logistics, a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network, says it took on the transport of the metal bull like any other oversized, demanding item, adding that it has a great deal of experience transporting museum pieces, including locomotives and aeroplanes.
"The Shy Black consists of different car parts. I see an interesting contrast in that a scrap car can become a cow," Äkkijyrkkä commented.
