April 2 - Bremen based Megalift GmbH has added a 750-tonne capacity Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 to its fleet.
Megalift's owner Bernd Preuße and operations manager Jörg Machner travelled to the Liebherr plant in Ehingen for the handover of the LTM 1750-9.1, which was ordered with a full range of equipment and will be used for the industrial and wind power sectors, with its main focus being on the erection of concrete towers for the latest generation of wind turbines.
Megalift bought its first Liebherr crane over a year ago and the company now owns five Liebherr models. "The positive experience we have had with Liebherr cranes made the decision to buy another large machine an easy one," said Preuße.
In April, 2014 Megalift will also take delivery of an LTM 1200-5.1 and a 130-tonne capacity LTM 1130-5.1 model, which was ordered with VarioBase - the variable support base unveiled by Liebherr at Bauma 2013.
