July 15 - Earlier this month BOW Terminal - the breakbulk and offshore wind terminal located in Vlissingen, the Netherlands - unloaded its longest-ever jacket pile.
The 110 m long unit was unloaded in a tandem lift.
BOW Terminal is a subsidiary of the Kloosterboer Group, which operates terminals in Rotterdam, Elst, Ijmuiden and Vlissingen in the Netherlands, as well as facilities in France, the USA and Canada.
In 2012, BOW Terminal invested in a Gottwald MK 1500 crane, capable of lifting up to 1,200 tonnes, enhancing its status as a terminal suitable for heavy lift and breakbulk cargoes.
