Marguisa Shipping Lines has expanded its services in the Brazilian market with the introduction of a semi-liner breakbulk service between Brazil and West Africa – the SAWAF service.
The expansion builds on the ro-ro service between Brazil and West Africa, which Marguisa launched in 2020. The move, the shipping line said, further enhances its offerings and provides a comprehensive monthly service between the major ports of that trade corridor, in partnership with its local agent Newal.
Marguisa aims to address the increasing demand for breakbulk shipments on this trade lane, including project cargo, heavy machinery, and other breakbulk shipments.
It added that the combination of its ro-ro operations and the breakbulk service will meet the diverse needs of its customers in the region. “We are confident that our new SAWAF service will provide reliable and efficient solutions, fostering trade and facilitating economic growth between Brazil and West Africa,” said Marguisa.
