October 6 - Mammoet has expanded its presence in Australia with the opening of a yard in Naval Base, an industrial suburb of Perth and an office in Brisbane.
Mammoet, which has been working in Australia since 2002, executing projects in the civil, petrochemical and mining industries, says the Brisbane office will support projects and clients in the eastern states.
It will be the fourth office Mammoet has in Australia, with other locations including Perth, Darwin and Port Hedland.
In western Australia, Mammoet Australia has expanded its operational footprint with the opening of the yard in Perth and expansion of its fleet with 12 mobile cranes, including a Liebherr LTM 1250, ranging in lifting capacity from 25 to 250 tons (22.7 to 226.8 tonnes).
"These new Mammoet locations enable us to have our equipment and professionals locally available. This ensures timely mobilisation to site, and a quick upscale if required," explained Wouter Mink, managing director Mammoet Australia.
