August 14 - Ankara, Turkey based Magdenli Transport has recently completed a number of heavy lift projects.
Magdenli Transport handled 152 units built by Japanese heavy equipment manufacturer Mitsubishi, the largest of which measured 30.14 m x 8.06 m x 7.81 m and weighed 152 tonnes. The units were loaded onto Magdenli Transport trailers and positioned onto concrete blocks.
The company was also involved in the Hatay Erzin combined cycle gas turbine power project; it transported two 300-tonne gas turbines and two 233-tonne turbine generators. The over-dimensional units were transported from Iskenderun port to the Erzin jobsite approximately 70 km away.
