July 31 - Libava Trans Holding has handled the shipment of heavy equipment from Seoul, Korea to Estonia's port of Paldiski via the Port of Antwerp, and onwards to Karapalpakstan in Uzbekistan by road.
At the Paldiski port, Libava loaded the 72-tonne and 6 m wide unit on to a Goldhofer hydraulic trailer, while the 40-tonne heat exchanger was placed on a Faymonville hydraulic lowbed trailer.
Libava explained that it needed two months to complete the extensive route survey for the 4,000 km long road transport to Uzbekistan.
The transport also required a full police escort in addition to a pilot escort car from the port up to the job site in Kungrad, Uzbekistan, explained Libava.
