August 23 - Belgian software house LogSys has installed its LGS.Stevedore browser-based application designed and developed to manage port terminals at three Belgian cargo terminals.
While the system has been installed in this instance at bulk terminals, the software is equally applicable to general and break bulk operations such as heavy lift, project cargo and out-of-gauge terminal operations, says the company.
Three terminals, two in Antwerp and one in Ghent, handle a variety of dry bulk commodities and all useLGS.Stevedore as their main terminal operating system, complete with LogSys' payroll management system, LGS.Payroll, and LGS.E-Connect, the customer portal that comes with LGS.Stevedore as a standard module.
Antwerp-based LogSys has branch offices in Varna, Bulgaria and Rouen, France.
