March 12 - London Offshore Consultants (LOC) has expanded its Australian operations with the opening of a new office in Sydney.
The office, which will be LOC's second in Australia, will mainly serve the marine market, and will offer hull and machinery advisory services, P&I Club work, expert services and casualty management.
The new branch will be headed up by Drew Shannon, who has over 13 years of experience in marine operations management, risk analysis and salvage operations.
Shannon will be responsible for the business development of LOC's Sydney operations, as well as looking for new prospects in the marine market and expanding the company's portfolio in both the Australian and Asian region.
