The operation began in November 2012 with the South Deck weighing 4,300 tonnes using a total of 192 axles. The module was 47 m in height, making it one of the largest modules to be transported and loaded in India. The load out of the South Deck was done on a 400-class barge requiring 50 pumps. The operation took over six hours to complete.
The consignment also consisted of a 700 tonne deck supporting frame (DSF); a TGBM module weighing 2,300 tonnes; a 23.5 m tall North Deck weighing 2,300 tonnes; and a LQBM deck weighing 3,400 tonnes.
