October 23 - Berlin-based crane service provider, BTB Logistik GmbH, has replaced its Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 with a new LTM 1750-9.1.
Andreas Malischewski, ceo of BTB, visited Liebherr's manufacturing plant in Ehingen to take delivery of the new crane personally. To be used mainly for applications in wind energy, in particular for installing wind towers and smaller plants, the crane will also be used in refineries, chemical plants, cargo transhipments in ports and bridge construction, says Malischewski.
The LTM 1750-9.1, which is the latest addition to Liebherr's range of all-terrain cranes, has a lifting capacity of 750 tonnes and is designed for particularly short setup times. Its entire telescopic boom can be conveyed on public roads - the key feature of the new crane, says Liebherr.
BTB's services include a wide range of lifting and heavy transport technology, as well as project planning for overall logistics solutions, consistently relying on the latest fleet technology.
