Each of the modules, which weighed between 104 and 149 tonnes and had the approximate dimensions 24 m x 4.5 m x 4 m, were transported from Alstom's premises to the commercial port of Setubal before being stored on elephant feet.
Once a heavy lift vessel had arrived at the port, L.Branco transported the modules alongside the ship and organised stevedores and welders to undertake the loading and lashing operations.
L.Branco was working for and in cooperation with KOG USA and KOG Switzerland who chartered the heavy lift vessel to transport the cargo to Jubail.
