May 19 - The Project Professionals Group (PPG), with the support of its USA member TransProject LLC, enjoyed a successful annual conference in Las Vegas from May 7-9.
The event was held at the New Tropicana Las Vegas hotel, in conjunction with the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Windpower 2014 conference and exhibition, at which PPG and TransProject shared a booth.
During the conference, members heard presentations from major sponsors Port of Corpus Christi, Rickmers-Linie, Port of Vancouver; from project support member WCT World Container Trading; from TransProject; as well as from media sponsor HLPFI's own Peter Edwards.
New members also presented to the group, with delegates hearing from Denmark's Scan Global Logistics; Russia's Neva Delta Group; Integral Chile SA; Spain's Stier Ship Agency; and Schryyer del Ecuador.
PPG members voted for Istanbul, Turkey to host the 2015 conference.
